H.R.6192 - 1921 Silver Dollar Coin Anniversary Act 

House Resolution to require the Secretary of the Treasury to mint coins in commemoration of the centennial of the minting of the Morgan dollar and the Peace dollar. This bill has been signed into law.

Metropolitan Coin Club of Atlanta – Founded in 1964 and now with about 100 members, MCCA has collectors of coins, paper money, tokens, and medals. The club especially encourages young beginning collectors and anyone wanting to learn more about the hobby and have fun doing it.

Braxton’s Gold & Coins – Braxton has a number of businesses at this location to include Braxton’s Clock World and Braxton’s Auctioneering. His shop is a great place for new collectors as he has tubs of unsorted coins for your browsing pleasure. Located on the Corner of U.S. Highway 78 and Main St. in downtown Loganville.


GNA – As the state numismatic organization, the Georgia Numismatic Association publishes the award winning GNA Journal, runs an annual coin show, conducts numismatic seminars, sponsors YN activities, funds scholarships and promotes numismatics in the state and region.

Blue Ridge Numismatic Association – Chartered in the State of South Carolina in 1960, but has grown to include neighboring states. They have an excellent Show Calendar.

Middle Georgia Coin Club – Macon, GA, with a sister club in Warner Robbins. MGCC was founded in 1936, making it one of the oldest clubs in the region. They meet on the 1st and 3rd Mondays at 7:00 PM, while their sister club meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 6:30 PM. See their website for locations.

Lowcountry Coin Club – North Charleston, SC – They meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month. Check link for details.

Florida United Numismatics – State-wide association of numismatists, founded in 1955. They have a huge FUN Convention (winter coin show) and a Summer FUN Show every year.
