Greater Atlanta Coin Show - A monthly coin show held in Marietta, GA. There are a lot dealer tables and much inventory to browse.

Metropolitan Coin Club of Atlanta - Founded in 1964 and now with about 100 members, MCCA has collectors of coins, paper money, tokens, and medals. The club especially encourages young beginning collectors and anyone wanting to learn more about the hobby and have fun doing it.

Mister Coin Conyers - Lindsey Goff, a valued club member, has a coin shop in Conyers. Excellent inventory and competitive prices. You won't find a more honest coin dealer to buy or sell. He is located at 1037 Honey Creek Road, Conyers, GA 30013 (Honey Creek Village Shopping Center) (770) 761-2646.

Braxton's Gold & Coins - Braxton has a number of businesses at this location to include Braxton's Clock World and Braxton's Auctioneering. His shop is a great place for new collectors as he has tubs of unsorted coins for your browsing pleasure. Located on the Corner of U.S. Highway 78 and Main St. in downtown Loganville.

North Metro Gold-n-Coins - Don Paschal has his shop in Lawrenceville at 121-B Hurricane Shoals Rd., just off of GA 20/124. He has a small shop, but you will be hard pressed to find more coins in any shop.

GNA - As the state numismatic organization, the Georgia Numismatic Association publishes the award winning GNA Journal, runs an annual coin show, conducts numismatic seminars, sponsors YN activities, funds scholarships and promotes numismatics in the state and region.

Blue Ridge Numismatic Association - Chartered in the State of South Carolina in 1960, but has grown to include neighboring states. They have an excellent Show Calendar.

Middle Georgia Coin Club - Macon, GA, with a sister club in Warner Robbins. MGCC was founded in 1936, making it one of the oldest clubs in the region. They meet on the 1st and 3rd Mondays at 7:00 PM, while their sister club meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 6:30 PM. See their website for locations.

Lowcountry Coin Club - North Charleston, SC - They meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month. Check link for details.

Florida United Numismatics - State-wide association of numismatists, founded in 1955. They have a huge FUN Convention (winter coin show) and a Summer FUN Show every year.

100 Greatest U.S. Modern Coins - The modern coin era began in America in 1965, the first year the U.S. Mint produced copper-nickel "clad" coins as replacement for silver coins, ending an unbroken, 173 year tradition. Collectors perceived the modern coinage as a vast desert of ultra-common, mundane, unattractive and boring coins.
